This one's a bit of a twist on the classic hotdog. We've used sausages from our friends at The Jolly Hog along with Buffalo Hot Sauce and some blue cheese mayo. You seriously need to give this one a go!
Ingredients
-
Sauce Shop Buffalo Hot Sauce
-
Chopped Jalapenos
-
4-6 hotdog bread rolls
-
Chopped spring onions
-
150g Sauce Shop Original Mayo
-
50g blue cheese, crumbled
To make the blue cheese mayo
Directions
You'll want to prep everything prior to cooking. Get started with the blue cheese mayo. Crumble your blue cheese and squeeze in the Original Mayo. Mix this all together in a bowl until it's creamy. If it's looking a little bit dry, add more mayonnaise.
Spread this into the bread rolls. Now would be a good time to finely cut up your spring onions!
Start cooking the sausages once the barbecue is hot. It's best to start cooking at a lower temperature and to just get some colour on them and then to increase the temperature rather than going too hot straight away and burning the exterior. Keep checking the internal temperature of the sausages and ensuring you turn frequently.
Using your temperature probe, ensure the sausages are above 72C and have a little bit of colour on the outside.
Add the sausages to the blue cheese lined bread rolls. Drizzle Buffalo Hot Sauce over the sausages, add a small handful of spring onions and place a couple of Jalapenos on top.
