Or check out our top 7 ways to use Truffalo down below.
Chicken wings
Sorry for going straight for the obvious one! Truffalo Hot Sauce is an epic sauce for chicken wings. It’s based on our classic buffalo sauce recipe. Its consistency is perfect for coating wings, and it features all the key flavour notes of the original – it’s spicy, tangy, rich and creamy. Try our hot wings recipe and get this sauce all over them!
With eggs
Scrambled, boiled or fried - however you like your eggs, you’ll like them even more with this chilli sauce. We’ve used our in-house aged jalapeños in the recipe (as with all our hot sauces) for layers of heat and flavour.
Mac and cheese
There aren’t many better things than a rich and creamy tray of mac and cheese. But we love adding a few drops of Truffalo Hot Sauce into it for even more flavour. Try making this spicy mac and cheese recipe, but use Truffalo instead of Scotch Bonnet Chilli Jam.
Cauliflower wings
The perfect veggie alternative to buffalo wings. Try out our buffalo cauliflower wings recipe and let us know what you think! These will only take around 30 minutes in total, so there’s no excuse not to give them a go the next time you fancy something spicy.
You could use Truffalo Hot Sauce or the original Buffalo Hot Sauce.
Grilled cheese sandwich
Hot sauce and melted cheese is an unbeatable combination. Cook up your favourite grilled cheese sandwich, and before putting it all together add a few drops of Truffalo Hot Sauce.
Our suggestion would be to keep it simple. Sourdough bread, a few different types of freshly grated cheese, some hot sauce and butter. That’s all you need for a great toasted sandwich.
Loaded fries
Who doesn’t love truffle loaded fries? You’ve probably seen truffle and parmesan fries on the menu at restaurants, so why not make them at home? Cook up some chips until crispy, toss them in your truffle hot sauce and grate over some parmesan. The perfect at home gourmet side.
To make a salad dressing
Yep, it works! You could make a good dressing using any hot sauce, from Sriracha Chilli Sauce to Original Hot Sauce. Mix Truffalo Hot Sauce with some oil, or some mayo to make a creamy dressing for salads. By using this chilli sauce, you keep all the flavour elements you love – it’s tangy, sharp and packed with truffle. Perfect to top your greens!
