What does it taste like?
Think of it as a supercharged version of our classic Buffalo Hot Sauce. It’s got that familiar buffalo sauce sharpness, which comes from vinegar and all the heat of the original, thanks to our aged jalapeños. But don’t be mistaken, this is a proper truffle hot sauce with a load of truffle in the recipe making it decadent and rich, perfect for fancy (and non-fancy) foods.

How hot is it?
It’s pretty hot, just as a good buffalo wing sauce should be. But as with all of our sauces, they aren’t just about heat. Our chilli sauces feature our signature chilli mash and Truffalo Hot Sauce is no exception.
For this sauce, we’ve taken perfectly ripe jalapeños, and fermented them for 2-4 weeks to bring out all the layers of flavour. On the Scoville scale, jalapeños are ranked between 2,500-8,000 SHU and this recipe is 27% jalapeno, so we class it as ‘hot’.
How to use truffle hot sauce
Chilli sauces are super versatile, so you could use it as you would Buffalo Hot Sauce, Original Hot Sauce or Sriracha Chilli Sauce. The key difference between Truffalo Hot Sauce and the rest of our range is the rich, decadent flavour profile.
