Why "Mother Tomato"? The name of our Mother Tomato Simmer Sauce was inspired by the five "mother" sauces in classic French cookery, one of which is tomato-based.

A cracking tomato sauce with a rich vibrant flavour, perfect consistency. I made a Sicilian anchovy/pasta, adding dried capers, a large dollop of quality pesto and a good sprinkling of freshly-grated parmesan on top.
These are hands down the best sauces iv ever tasted, the simmer sauce in my bolognese was amazing 👏
I placed my first order with Sauce Shop and had issues with processing my order online. I reached out to customer services and they sorted the issues immediately and re-sent my order straight away. My order then arrived damaged and again contacted customer services who resolved the issue immediately and gave me some freebies as an apology. I can’t fault the customer service - I’m still working my way through my order, but so far I’m loving the taste of the products! I would 100% order again without hesitation. I recommend to anyone.
